The IMS system is built in such a way that absolutely no event can take place without being recorded in the database and that the system response to the event is maximally fast. The whole process takes place in several stages performed in parallel. First, all events are set chronologically. Then they are simultaneously saved to the database and analyzed for the system’s response to the event. If the system response does not require operator intervention, the system immediately sends the defined command list to controllers. Otherwise, an appropriate message is sent to the operator’s position and a decision is made based on his response.
