PMD2 is the most advanced design among CEIA gate metal detectors.

This metal detector has a modern, elegant appearance that allows it to be placed in places where the aesthetic, non-glaring appearance of the installation is important. The compact and lightweight column design allows the detector to be used in temporary and portable installations. PMD2 is equipped with a zone locator, signaling by means of a vertical line of light emitting diodes the height at which the dangerous object was placed and the approximate dimensions of this object. These zones are created dynamically, based on the innovative technology of continuous vector magnetic field scanning, ensuring equal sensitivity in every place of the scanned area. The detector also provides enormous discrimination while maintaining the highest level of security. The PMD2 Elliptic Multi-Zone metal detector control unit is built into the door structure, it can also be housed in a stainless steel housing in IP55 class, allowing the detector to be used outdoors. Access to the control terminal has been secured by both a mechanical lock and appropriate passwords. The detector’s standard equipment includes a microprocessor card reader for storing and quickly entering settings. The PMD2 detector was manufactured using the latest technologies adapted to the quality control system according to ISO 9001.
