The Integrated Management System is a powerful tool that allows you to build any “large” management system. Despite the many functions implemented, the possibilities of virtually unlimited expansion and the implementation of complex tasks, in everyday use it is extremely simple and easy to use due to the fact that:
- a) the operator’s work with the system takes place solely on the basis of plans of the objects graphically presented on the monitor in the form of maps (buildings, floors, fragments of the object).
- b) Each of the controlled devices is graphically represented on the map in the form of an (thematic) icon, depicting the current task (opening the door, turning on the light, etc.)
- c) all subsystem Actions are immediately interpreted graphically on the monitor, and Actions requiring confirmation are displayed with an additional request for operator approval.
- d) Each alarm event is immediately signaled by an alarm message, an appropriate voice message and a request to confirm receipt of the message by the operator.
- e) Remote management of system actions (door opening, camera preview, air conditioning, etc.) consists in pointing the mouse to the appropriate icon on the map of interest to us and “clicking” within the icon. In case of an action requiring confirmation, an appropriate message is displayed along with a confirmation request.
- f) In the event of connecting the IMS with the public address system, any message, both alarm and information, can be forwarded to any zone of the object.
